Shadow of the Fox

Shahram’s wife has left. In the middle of a mental crisis he has to answer his teenage daughter’s questions.

Two people in a house, one of whom is disintegrating and one of whom is asking. The stills follow the geometry of that: the distance between them in a room, which is the whole film. No crisis is performed to camera. What the images record is the arrangement of a father and a daughter who can no longer be in the same frame comfortably, and the moments where they briefly are.
