My Window, Tehran

Statement

“My Window, Tehran” is a personal series made between 2014 and 2017, during a period of intense engagement with the urban landscape of Tehran. Living in a house with a terrace overlooking the city, I used the camera as a conduit for translating emotional states into visual form.

Each photograph is a moment of convergence between external observation and internal reflection, capturing the interplay of light, shadow and atmosphere as they resonated with my own experience.

The series is not a comprehensive portrait of Tehran, but a fragmented and subjective account of my relationship with the city during a specific period of my life.
